I visited North Corridor Radio group (NCRG) on 5th
March 2017. NCRG has been leading in amateur radio activities in Western
Australia over three decades. It is the first and the foremost group that takes
part in contests and organizing Ham fest. The club operates repeaters VK6RNC on
146.625 MHz and VK6 RNS on 439.625 MHz. Perth beacon is located at the club on
frequency 28.264 MHz. They conduct general meetings on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays
of the month at 7.30 p.m. and 4th Tuesday for business. Also the club meets
every Sunday between 8 a.m. to mid day for working bee and chat session.OM
Keith Bain bridge VK6ANC is the president and he took me around their club and
explained all facilities. I had nice eye ball with other members. It was an
enjoyable experience.
